TAMPA, Florida (AP) -- Gov. Jeb Bush and the parents of a severely brain-damaged woman won appellate court rulings in their favor Friday on two legal issues in their quest to keep the woman alive against her husband's wishes.
Last month, I was pretty glum about Terri's prospects, and had written some pretty dire predictions. This is one of those times where I'm very happy to have been wrong!
While the battle isn't over, this is a major victory for Terri and the cause of Life. Now that Gov. Bush and the Schindler's legal team can introduce witness testimony, it may be possible to overturn Judge Greer's tendentious and sometimes bizarre findings of "fact".
Deo Gratias! Sometimes the good guys win!
